The Emerging Research Group of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has initiated different projects in 2018 with the help of external funding sources such as the “Marató de TV3” and “Instituto de Salud Carlos III”. It is especially important to highlight the progress made in the projects financed by the “Marató de TV3” in which the first measurements have already been made, thus complying with the deadlines established in 2017. Thanks to these projects, necessary instruments have been obtained to carry out studies of great scientific quality (e.g. an arms ergometer) and for regular clinical practice (e.g. a free software and low cost hardware for the postural control and gait assessment) , as well as the hiring of the first predoctoral researcher of the group. Finally, the group has managed to establish different lines of research from the field of rehabilitation with a view to increasing the number of PhD students and the quality and quantity of scientific production of the group.
